Capabilities

Vacuum forming, also called thermoforming, heats a plastic sheet until it's pliable, then draws it down over a mold with vacuum pressure so it takes the mold's shape. Once it cools, we trim the part to its finished outline.

Materials

We work in sheet plastics such as ABS, HIPS and PETG, chosen to fit how and where the finished part will be used.

Process

• Start from a drawing or CAD file (PDF, SolidWorks, STEP, IGES or DXF)
• Build or use an existing mold
• Heat and vacuum form the sheet over the mold
• Trim and finish the part in-house
• Ship a single prototype, or run full production
