What is vacuum forming?
Vacuum forming, also called thermoforming, is a process where a plastic sheet is heated until pliable, then pulled down over a mold with vacuum pressure so it takes the mold's shape. Once it cools, the part is trimmed to its finished outline.
Do you make one-off prototypes, or only production runs?
Both. We build single prototype parts as well as ongoing production runs for equipment manufacturers.
What file types do you accept?
PDF, SolidWorks, STEP, IGES and DXF files all work for quoting and tooling.
Where are you located?
Shiner, Texas. All of our vacuum forming work is done in the USA, in our Shiner shop.
What materials do you work with?
Sheet plastics such as ABS, HIPS and PETG, chosen to fit your part's application.
